These dogs were amazing!

A Day in Review: Dino Doggy Days

On October 16th, Dinosaur World, Florida hosted one of the coolest events in town – Dino Doggy Day! Dino Doggy Day was a HUGE success as we welcomed many dogs into our park as well as their human companions. Although dogs are typically allowed in the park, Dino Doggy Day was extra special as the pups scored their humans a $5 discount on admission as part of this event.

Alongside our usual dinosaurs, the park had some extraordinary visitors from Sirius Dog Stars. These canines did three performances throughout the day featuring their incredible skills and fun tricks right alongside our dinos. They are so talented, and we were so happy that they came out. Next time they will have to teach our dinosaurs a few tricks!

Gene the Dinosaur also made a few appearances throughout the day and got to meet with many of the kids and dogs throughout the park. Gene is one of our Dinosaur World favorites and is occasionally found roaming the park looking for new friends. He even lets the kids pet him and will pose for cool photos. Check out the Dinosaur World, Florida Facebook page for a cool behind the scenes look at Gene the Dinosaur.

We also had two vendors come out for our special Dino Doggy Day. Floof n’ Pawz featured some of the best dog and cat collars, bandanas, leashes, paw balm, and other pet accessories. We wish their accessories came in XXXXXL for our dinosaurs because we would have gotten some for them. Our other vendor, Busy Bee Laser and Design, featured custom laser cut and engraved items such as tumblers, leash hooks, and ornaments. It’s too bad our T-Rexes don’t have arms long enough to use a tumbler, because they would have loved one!

Stay tuned for our next event!
